YRUI Partners with Be The Source for Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation

Youth Rising-Up Initiative is thrilled to announce an upcoming virtual Lunch & Learn in partnership with Be The Source — a Colorado nonprofit that supports foster, kinship, and biological families with training, therapy, and practical resources. Their work is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when caregivers feel supported, children have the opportunity to heal and thrive. Children in foster and kinship care face elevated risk factors for human trafficking and exploitation. That is why this partnership matters so deeply. YRUI will be presenting on what human trafficking really looks like, how to identify the warning signs, which children are most vulnerable and why, and what caregivers can do right now to protect the young people in their care. Knowledge is protection. And the caregivers Be The Source serves are on the front lines every single day. We are honored to equip them.
